Transforming Schools into Digital Age Places of Learning
One of the most important jobs that administrators have each year is deciding what the main focus or theme for the up and coming school year will be. This summer, administrators gathered for several days to collaborate on how to develop a growth mindset, implement the Data Wise Improvement Process and outline how technology can help to improve instruction and student learning. In the past and again this year, administrators conducted a book study on Eric Sheninger's book, Digital Leadership, to help our administrators become digital leaders on their campus.

Technology Target Objective: Where are we? Where do we go from here?
During the 2013-2014 school year, the district implemented a Technology Target Objective. During the first day of the leadership academy, data measurements outlined in the Technology Target Objective were reviewed by the administrative team. The overall arching question presented to the group was, "Does the data truly reflect student learning?" Administrators discussed that a concern was that many teachers and administrators had a misconception of what a higher cognitive level lesson looked like in the classroom.
